While we take our work seriously, though, ours is a fun, friendly workplace too. Regular get-togethers – invariably revolving around enjoying good food and good parties – ensure we’re a close-knit team. These have been especially valuable as we’ve continued flexible working. We trust our team; combining office- and home-based working to suit each individual’s circumstances means they’re relaxed and happy in their work – able to focus on getting the right results for our clients.
Ashleigh works within Operations as our Project Manager, focusing on managing cross-departmental projects, implementing Continuous Improvement strategies, and facilitating growth-focused change.
In her spare time, she regularly runs charity drives to support local causes, is seen walking her dog, or is on her motorbike touring the UK.
Connie is an experienced Manager who is very focused on her people & their development. She is very target-driven, ensuring clients get the best service within budget & prides herself on an excellent service offering.
Connie enjoys socialising with friends, travelling & partying in the sunshine!
Originally from Nottingham, David joined Energist in December 2021. His role as BREEAM Assessor involves carrying out BREEAM Assessments and Circular Economy Statements. He also has a Master’s degree in Energy and Sustainable development.
In his spare time, he loves playing football and rugby.
Ellie is an experienced BREEAM & SAP Assessor and Accredited Professional with solid experience in delivering sustainability and Part L assessments.
Ellie enjoys working in her allotment and playing badminton.
Graham has worked in construction-based account management for many years within the sustainability sector, helping some of the UK’s leading House Builders and Contractors meet their energy targets.
Graham has extensive experience understanding bespoke requirements and the communication levels required to ensure clients are in safe hands.
During downtime, reading, music and travel are Graham’s favourite ways to relax.
Helen has worked with Energist since 2007 in a client-facing role. Since then, the energy and sustainability requirements for planning, design and construction have become much more complex. She continues to advise clients on how to best navigate and what services are required.
Helen can’t think of anything better than lounging on the beach in Mexico with a book and cocktail in hand.
Huw is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s marketing and works closely with the marketing department.
He enjoys playing blues piano, flyfishing, cycling, and travelling in his spare time.
Jac is one of our marketing executives with specialist skills in marketing automation, campaign management and marketing strategy.
In his spare time, you’ll usually find Jac at The Rec watching Bath Rugby or playing for his local rugby club.

Jennie has been with us since July 2019 as our Logistics Co-Ordinator. She manages the testing schedule for Air, Acoustics and Thermographics, which is continually changing and updating to match client requirements, so you could say she’s a good juggler!
In Jennie’s spare time, she loves going to the cinema to watch the latest Marvel offerings and enjoys spending quality time with her son and four grandsons, who are her world.
Jon has been with us since 2006 and considers his specialist subjects as SAP, SBEM compliance, thermal bridging and AD-O.
He keeps an eye on emerging Government policies regarding sustainable construction targets and ensures we’re all aware so we can always be prepared for upcoming changes.
Outside of work, Jon hosts a regular podcast focused on the West of England music scene, is fluent in shorthand, loves a coastal path, and won two Cosplay awards in 2022.
As our marketing exec, Kim looks after our campaigns, updating literature, the website and everything else in between, keeping you up to date with the latest news from the industry and any regulatory changes.
In her spare time, she is a Special Constable for Wiltshire Police and enjoys travelling back to Devon to visit family for walks on the beach!
Linda’s speciality is Residential SAPs helping clients to be more energy efficient, striking the perfect balance between meeting requirements but within budget.
In her spare time, Linda enjoys running, walking and travelling.
Prior to having two children I worked in IT – before a mouse was used it was that long ago. I returned to work in Finance in the noughties and joined Energist in May 2021. I love being outdoors, at least when the weather is nice, enjoying gardening and walking the dog
Matt’s day-to-day role as Head of Delivery is to ensure the Delivery team provides our clients with the highest standard of service.
As a busy Father of three young boys, all under 7, he likes to cycle and socialise with friends (preferably with a glass of red wine) with any spare time he can find!
Our experienced Energy Assessor, Mubarak, demonstrates expertise in environmental sustainability within the construction industry. Specialising in SAP assessments and advising on complex residential building construction decisions.
He enjoys watching football and keeping fit in the gym in his spare time.
Peter works on our SAPs and EPCs for new build homes, U-value calculations, Condensation Risk Analysis, conversions to residential homes and 2D thermal bridging analysis.
In his spare time, he likes to play 6-a-side football and attempt a fraction of my ever-growing video game library.
Rebekah has over 15 years of experience in Sales support. With a highly organised approach, she’s always on it, helping clients when needed.
Rebekah likes to travel and experience different foods with her family and enjoys being part of her local running club.
Ross has been with Energist for a year and is now responsible for issuing Energy Performance Certificates and Water Efficiency Calculations.
He’s also training to become a SAP assessor.
He spends most of his free time learning languages and writing music.
Ruth has been with Energist for nearly 16 years. As one of our senior energy and sustainability specialists within our planning team, she works on various complex schemes inside and outside London.
Outside work, she enjoys rock climbing and running up and down muddy hills with my dogs.

Sarah has extensive experience in the Construction industry and strong knowledge of the Commercial sector, especially with projects involving BREEAM Assessments.
She enjoys doing mixed martial arts, with her current belt level being Orange and also enjoys spending time at her allotment with her husband and son.
Sophie spends her time closing loops for Sarah and the team, managing projects, researching and emailing at lightspeed and has been with the company since 2014.
In her spare time, she loves to travel with her husband and Son – Disneyworld was the last holiday and next on the list is Greece. Sophie is also a huge movie buff, loves foodie pursuits, listening to jazz and hiking too.
Steve has been with Energist for 16 years specialising in Part L assessments for non-domestic buildings. He also has a BSc Honours Degree in Botany and Geography and an MSc in Forestry.
When not working, he likes to spend time in the garden and working on keeping a 280-year-old cottage from falling down.
Steve’s day-to-day involves getting to site as early as possible, running tests and doing all we can to help clients to pass.
In his spare time, he’s a season ticket at Stockport County FC and keeps busy with his seven grand kids. He’s also the labourer on his wife’s allotment!
A keen family man, when Stuart isn’t wrapping his head around the ever-changing world of sustainability, he can be found trying to keep up with two energetic children, enjoying time on the bike or tucking into the best local pubs.
Tina has had a career in recruitment over the last 30 years but moved into HR Management in the last 12 years, covering all areas of HR.
She is a proud Mum of a 20-year-old Son who has recently joined the RAF and a 14-year-old daughter., as well as an 11-year-old fur baby Labrador.
She participates in charity walk marathons in her spare time and enjoys fizz, G&T’s and Red Wine with friends!
From a young age, Vanessa has always had a passion for sustainability, drawing her to specialising in Sustainable Architectural design.
Being a BREEAM assessor means I have had to express my creativity elsewhere, and baking character cakes in my spare time brings it out in me!
